Web and search giant Google is celebrating 18 today!
the company is celebrating using a google doodle, which is an animation of the logo’s capital G contorting a long party balloon into the shape of “oogle.”
Google celebrates its birthday on September 27.
However, reports indicate that Google doesn’t really seem to know when it was formed! up until 2006, Google celebrated its birthday on September 26, and in 2004, the sixth doodle celebrating Google’s birthday went up on the Internet on September 7 in 2004 and before that, it had come up on September 8.
The company however reportedly has its own history listing its incorporation date as September 4 in 1998.
