MTN Uganda enriches its lowest MTN Zone call rates with new bundles

MTN Uganda has introduced two new attractive and highly discounted voice bundles on the MTN Zone discount profile.

The new MTN Zone bundles will see MTN Zone prepaid customers experience guaranteed 85% and 100% discounts on calls made at any time of the day.

Dubbed the ‘MTN Zone Day Bundle’, this bundle includes 9 minutes for only 500ugx while the ‘MTN Zone Night Bundle’ includes a substantial 300 minutes for only 500ugx.

According to Mapula Bodibe the Chief Marketing Officer of MTN Uganda, “The offer means that when an MTN customer loads a ‘MTN Zone Day Bundle’, they are guaranteed an 85% discount on calls made between 12am to 11:59pm and when a customer loads the ‘MTN Zone Night bundle’, they will be guaranteed a discount of 100% on calls between 12am to 4:59am,”

“Some Customers want predictable offerings to cater for their needs, and may not be willing to wait for an attractive discount on MTN Zone. Through the new MTN Zone bundles, MTN is providing its customers certainty and predictability with a guaranteed reduction in their call rates. Customers can also continue to enjoy all the other benefits of MTN Zone, including up to 100% discounts on calls and SMSs, Guaranteed 95% discounts on Night discounts, Up to 95% discounts on Weekends and free Caller tunes, SMSs and Data bundles on Hollazone” she added.

MTN Uganda launched voice bundles in 2014 and has since registered over 5 million users.
