In statement issued by the Uganda Tourism Board (UTB) late this week, indicates that all persons intending to come to Uganda for holiday, tourism, business, study, visit and medical purposes are required to apply and obtain a visa online.
Uganda joins the likes of other African countries such as: Zimbabwe, Kenya, Rwanda, Zambia in this project [online visa processing system for its visitors] effective of 1st July, 2016.
Applicants can only apply for — Multiple-Entry visas, Diplomatic & Official visas, Ordinary & East Africa Tourist Visas Transit.
Once the applicant applies for a visa, and s/he is approved, they’ll be sent an approval letter as an attachment to the email they provided. After which they will have to print it out and present it together with a valid passport or travel documents at the port of entry.
