As part of activities to celebrate their 115th Anniversary, the Commonwealth Telecommunications Organisation (CTO), is organizing a Commonwealth Youth ICT Applications Competition 2016 whose aim is to recognize excellence and to enable knowledge sharing.
Therefore the Commonwealth Telecommunications Organisation invites youth who are interested to submit their essays in no more than 500 words to anniversary.awards@cto.int not later than July 15, 2016.
Submissions must be in English ONLY and must be the original work of the candidate submitting it. They should indicate:
- The category under which the application will be submitted. The categories include; E-commerce, E-education, E-agriculture and E-health.
- The problem the solution seeks to solve.
- How the solution works.
Four winners will be awarded with a cash prize of £1,000 (roughly 1328 USD or 4.5million UGX) from each of the four categories.
