In 2017, Consumer Electronic Show or CES will play host to showcase African startups via the Africa Tech Now Village – a premium event showcasing the finest Digital Technology in Africa and highlighting the innovation skills as well as the creativity of African startups.
Online submission for start-ups willing to exhibit at AFRICA TECH NOW Village, is open via the VC4Africa platform and winners will be determined by the vote of an international panel of technology experts.
The 10 lucky winners will be offered the opportunity to showcase their talent and innovative product, service or idea at CES 2017.
All expenses including transportation, accommodation and visa’s fees will be covered. They will benefit from a series of training, workshop and webinar to be well prepared and get the most of the show business opportunities. They will be invited to attend special events during CES which allow them to connect and network with investors, potential clients and technology partners, distributors, etc. Moreover, they will be the center-stage of over 7000 media from all over the world covering the event.
According to organizers, early or mid-stage startups that have been in existence for over 6 months and less than 3 years, have a product and service preferably addressing the consumer market and are in fields covered at CES marketplaces (Robotics, Drones, 3D printing, Education Technology, Agri-tech, App Economy, e-Health, e-commerce, Internet Of Things, etc..are eligible to apply.
CES is the world’s gathering place for all who thrive on the business of consumer technologies. It has served as the proving ground for innovators and breakthrough technologies for almost 50 years—the global stage where next-generation innovations are introduced to the marketplace.
