Rhapsody is re-branding as Napster

After failing to get the traction of its competitor Spotify, Rhapsody which launched in 2001 as Listen.com is relaunching as Napster, the service it acquired in 201.

The re-branding will not affect playlists, favorites, albums, and artists.

According to Rhapsody’s website, you will get the same music, Same service, Same price and 100% the music you love.

The re-branding process is is coming with a new tagline which is going to be “Napster is coming.”

The company will also have some layoffs despite the 35 percent growth in paid subscribers last year.

They finished 2015 with 3.5 million customers.
