Multinational online transportation network Uber has updated its Family Profiles feature with the ability to track riders in your closed group from the moment they hop in a cab up to the moment they reach their destination.
The new Trip Tracker lets you know whenever one of people in the closed group takes a cab and show you the route they’re taking in real-time on a map.
The app then notifies you when they’ve arrived at their destination.
The new feature has also brought about the option of you paying the bill instead of charging the passenger.
This comes in handy when you share a credit card with other members of your family.
The Trip Tracker feature is available to users across the globe.
