ZTE corporation has revealed that it will be open 50 branches in Zimbabwe this year, including a technical and repair centre for all its products.
The Chinese multinational telecommunications equipment and systems company has set aside an investment of $1,5 million for the process and had a grand entry through the launch of its latest smartphone, the ZTE Axon.
The ZTE Axon mobile phone was the winner of an unprecedented award for a Chinese brand, which is the User Experience Award at IFA 2015.
The company will spend approximately $30 000 on each branch in Zimbabwe by year end.
ZTE will also look at establishing themselves in the High end device market, and has launched into the field with the Spro series of smart projectors which is the company’s hi-tech answer to the evolving needs of users’ smart lifestyle.
