Nintendo has announced the release date for first smartphone app, Miitomo, as March 17th first to be available in Japan starting March 17 and then releases in the rest of the world will follow. Miitomo, a game which is now available on both Android and iOS lets one create their own Mii characters which can communicate and interact with Miis belonging to other players.
Nintendo made an announcement on its Japan Twitter account, said (loosely translated), “Delivery start date of Concerning Copyrights ” Miitomo ” was decided on March 17, 2016 ( Thursday) . It should be noted that , so you end reception at noon of March 16th for pre-registration , please register as soon as possible.” In the same breath, they encouraged their customers to pre-register in order to get some kind of offer.

All other customers can, pre-register for Miitomo by creating a Nintendo Account using their social network information or email addresses, as they wait for the social experience that Nintendo promises customers in “Miitomo”.
