Jumia Bringing ‘Black Friday’ to Kenya On November 28

Black-FridayJumia is bringing its ‘biggest sale and discounts of the year’ which will feature huge price cuts on a range of products starting from November 24 culminating in the ‘Black Friday’ sales day of November 28.

Starting 24th November, different days will have different deals with limited stock and time while the various offers will be posted online via Facebook and Twitter.

Black Friday is the busiest shopping day in US during which many stores lower their prices for products, give crazy discounts and special offers – every year after Thanksgiving Day on the fourth Friday of November. It is called Black Friday because of the black markings left on the road surface due to heavy traffic.

Jumia has brought it in  Kenya but the difference is that unlike the US where shoppers line up for hours to access stores and endure long hours of traffic jams, Kenyans will be saved from the hustle as Jumia will deliver items to buyers’ office or doorstep after which the buyer will then make payment for the product(s).

Interested buyers are invited to sign up for the first Black Friday via the Jumia Kenya portal for updates.
