The latest version of the Netflix iOS app is now available to download, and it has come with a new update. You can make in-app subscriptions.
Previously, it has not been possible to subscribe to Netflix suing the iOS mobile app, and would-be users were forced to sign up on the web, before returning to the app to actually view the content.
The delay is attributed to Apple charging companies 30% of the sale amount of any purchase made inside an iOS app, meaning Apple would take a cut of a subscription to Netflix if it was made in the app which is a huge turn-off for companies.
