Microsoft launches two Lumia range smartphones in Uganda

Microsoft East Africa today launched two Lumia range phones, the Microsoft Lumia 435 and the Microsoft Lumia 532. The two phones – generally, entry level – have been priced at UGX 330,000 ($112) and UGX 370,000 ($126) respectively.

The Lumia 435 is the least priced Lumia yet, with core smartphone features, the best Windows experiences and access to the latest apps.

“The Microsoft Lumia 435 and the Lumia 532 show our commitment to bring Windows smartphones to as many people as possible,” said Mariam Abdullahi, Microsoft Devices East Africa General Manager.

“Both devices are fantastic for moving to a smartphones for the very first time,” she added, emphasizing the notion that these two devices are intended for entry-level users..

The two devices are eligible for Microsoft’s Make It Happen campaign.
