Amazon Cloud Drive now offers unlimited storage for photos and files

Amazon has added new storage tiers for its Cloud Drive customers with a heck of a lot of files and photos.

Prime members and Fire device owners already have unlimited photo storage included with their accounts, but everyone else can now upload an ‘infinite’ amount of photos for $11.99 per year.

For files, you get 5 GB, which means this plan is only really useful if you primarily use the cloud to save your old pictures.

The new plan is the Unlimited Everything Plan, store anything you can upload for $59.99 per year.

It’s a lot more out of your wallet, but still reasonable.

For comparison, Dropbox’s 1TB Pro plan costs $99 per year.

Amazon is offering a free 3-month trial to either plan at amazon.com/clouddrive. If you’re already using Cloud Drive, you can upgrade from your settings page.
