Twitter releases its first official WordPress plugin

Good news WordPress developers, Twitter has announced today that it’s releasing its first official Twitter plugin for WordPress  and the plugin is bringing a bunch of Twitter functionality to your site easily.

Some of the features the plugin is bringing are;

• it automatically generates Twitter Cards for your pages,
• enables Twitter Analytics,
• embeds video and
• adds a tweet button to posts in the admin interface.

The plugin also has an option that allows you to tweak the look of embedded tweets on your site, so it matches your theme, along with a number of features that help users get started with Twitter advertising.
