Every once in a while, someone calls me asking for my help to unsubscribe from either receiving caller tunes or MTN voice. This is always because they get charged for such service every day or week or even a month.
In the light of all these complaints MTN Uganda is taking the power of sending these unsolicited messages from the content provider who were a third party and it has created a content management system that will handle all these subscriptions.
According to Brian Gouldie the MTN Uganda CEO, every month MTN customers will be unsubscribed from all the content provider’s systems. This will ensure that customers are put first before the content and it will also improve on the type of content that is being provided.
How to disable the unsolicited SMS Messages.
