The International Trade Centre, the joint agency of the World Trade Organization and the United Nations, is inviting companies in Uganda’s IT & ITES sector to apply to participate in a project of the Netherlands Trust Fund (NTF) III programme, focusing on enhancing export competitiveness in the IT & ITES sector. The project is a three-year initiative that will provide in-depth capacity building and market-penetration support to 30 local exporting and export-ready companies as well as start-ups. The project is specifically designed to enhance the capacity, competitiveness and exports of small and medium-sized enterprises.
The project will:
Provide training and advisory services on topics such as export marketing and access to finance; and Facilitate business-to-business events in Europe and Africa between international buyers and Ugandan companies.
Enterprises interested in applying to participate in NTF III Uganda are requested to fill out and submit the Expression of Interest. The deadline for submission is Thursday November 13th HERE.
The National Information Technology Authority of Uganda (NITA-U), Uganda Business Process Outsourcing Association (UBPOA), and the ICT Association of Uganda (ICTAU) are the official partners of the project. NTF III is funded by the Dutch Centre for the Promotion of Imports from developing countries (CBI).
