Facebook to launch an app where users can interact anonymously

facebookInformation coming in is that Facebook is working on an app that facilitates anonymous texting by the users.

The social media giant is looking at the app to elevate the fortunes of the company further. The app will enable the users to send text messages to friends in an anonymous identity.

The app has been in development phase for the last one year and the responsibility of its development has been taken up by the former co-founder of the branch, Josh Miller.

This branch will be concerned with discussion groups on a small scale. A letter had been directed to Facebook by Miller which stated, “With the goal of helping people connect with others around their interests. Their pitch [Facebook] to us was: ‘Build Branch at Facebook scale!’”

The new app will allow the users to hide their real names behind curtains. The launch of the app is expected to take place very soon, however the experts are skeptical about the fact how the mentioned app will be incorporated into Facebook.

After launching the app, Facebook will come in direct competition with Reddit and other anonymous sharing apps. The fans have great expectations from the upcoming app from the social media giant and we will have to wait and see how it performs on the Facebook platform.
