Microsoft unveiled the Surface Pro 3 tablet PC at an event in New York City on Tuesday, 20 May 2014.
The device is a larger, but lighter than its predecessor, Microsoft said, featuring a 12-inch display running at a resolution of 2160×1440.
Weighing in at 800g, the device will come in configurations featuring 4th-generation Intel Core i3, i5, and i7 processors.
As with previous versions of the Surface, Type Covers will be available for the Surface Pro to offer a hardware keyboard.
Similar to earlier Surface models, the Surface Pro 3 also features kickstand, but its is a continuous multi-position kickstand that lets you set the angle to whatever you want between 0 and 150 degrees.
Microsoft said that it would go on pre-order in the US from today (21 May 2014), with hardware available at the following prices:
