Samsung announces a new store

Samsung-logoSamsung has announced the opening of its Sandton Experience Store in Nelson Mandela Square, South Africa, hoping to make connected lifestyle solutions more accessible.

“The opening of this store is another step towards our objective to make the brand more accessible to SA consumers. With continued dialogue between ourselves and other retail hubs located around the country, we will see more Samsung Experience Stores being introduced in the not so distant future,” said Michelle Potgieter, director of corporate marketing and communications at Samsung Electronics South Africa.

“An overall inspiring experience is now a prerequisite. Samsung aims to provide a holistic lifestyle consulting service. Should it be advice, on the spot software upgrades or to demonstrate how to best make use of the Smart Life eco-system through utilising accessories, content and service offerings available, with solutions that are designed to make life easier and more exciting.”

The Sandton Experience Store will offer the company’s full range of mobile devices, audio visual solutions and a range of household appliances.

In addition, client service requirements will be simplified by highly trained on-site technical representatives to manage mobile phone upgrades or to facilitate bookings with the closest Smart Care Service Centre, the company said.

“We would like to encourage consumers to visit this new store and discover for themselves how Samsung combines simple and elegant design with an enhanced user experience,” said Potgieter.
