Airtel starts offering free access to Facebook

Starting today, Airtel Uganda will start offering free access to Facebook. It joins other Telecommunications who already have it on their internet offerings.

This was revealed through a post on their Facebook page announcing the offer.

The limit however is that it will only be accessed through www.0.facebook.com www.o.facebook.com or www.Zero.facebook.com.

Using those sites enables one to only view posts but not images.

At the moment MTN offers free Facebook chat using the Facebook messenger app.
