Many users were unable to make posts on Facebook yesterday, with many receiving an error messages stating, “An error occurred. Please try again later.” Some who were able to log on to the site found they were unable to post a status update, instead receiving an error message which read, “There was a problem updating your status. Please try again later.”
As PC Tech Magazine Observed, the only way one would make a post was using the notes service which was not affected. Service-tracking website Down For Everyone Or Just Me reported that Facebook is, indeed, down, as does Down Right Now, showing service disruptions that started at approximately 8 a.m. ET.

The bug was finally fixed and currently Facebook is working well.
