Air Uganda today launched a new revamped booking engine, with improved functionality. The new engine which is now live on the Air Uganda Website was unveiled to the press by the air Uganda management team at their headquarters in Kololo.

Once payment is made, the air ticket is delivered to your email address.
“We are always looking for better and more innovative ways to serve our customers. Our new booking and payment platform brings the Air Uganda services to your computer and mobile phone and this is a significant development in our ability to service our customers on a 24hour basis worldwide,” said Cornwell Muleya, the Air Uganda C.E.O. “The mobile money payment option is especially relevant to our markets in Africa where this service is prevalent in many countries.”
The new booking engine is hosted on the Air Uganda website www.air-uganda.com and has already become popular with more than 400 passengers using it in the short period since its launch. In addition customers can now perform online check-in and get a boarding pass using this engine.
The booking engine is set to change the way Air Uganda interacts with its customers by offering a faster and more convenient way of ticket purchase and travel. With the world getting busier and more technologically advanced, Air Uganda is implementing modern systems to serve the customer and make their travel experience stress free and convenient.
In addition to the above developments, the Airline is also upgrading its website to ensure customers can interact with the airline easily.
The new website will be much easier to navigate, quicker to load and is intended to be a one stop shop for clients. It has been designed taking into account the feedback received from our customers and therefore addresses their needs. “Air Uganda is a listening and responsive airline and that is one of reasons why we are East Africa’s fastest growing airline,” said Jenifer Musiime, the Head of Sales & Marketing.
