5. Questions will be asked at 6 minute intervals. Once the 6 minutes are over, panellists will move to the next question. So you have six minutes to join in with your experiences, or ask a follow-up question

Amrote Abdella, Directoros of startup engagements and partnerships, Microsoft Africa Initiatives (Kenya)
Amrote Abdella is the Directoros startup engagements & partnerships for Microsoft’s 4Afrika Initiative, a multi-year commitment by Microsoft to actively engage in Africa’s economic development to improve its global competitiveness. Before joining Microsoft, Amrote worked with the World Economic Forum in Geneva, as Associate Director for the Africa region where she was responsible for key relationships and strategic initiatives with African government and business leaders. Prior to the World Economic Forum, Amrote was part of the World Bank in Washington D.C. working on Access to Finance focusing on Africa.
Harry Hare, CEO and Executive Producer of DEMO Africa (Kenya)
Harry is an entrepreneur with business interests in Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda and Tanzania. He is also the founder of African eDevelopment Resource Centre, an IT and Telecoms training company with clients in 29 African countries. Harry is founder and publisher of CIO East Africa an IT Media company with Web, Print, Events and TV properties serving the C-Level IT professionals in East Africa. Other interests include health intelligence software, telecoms equipment distributions, events management and farming.
Hanan Abdel-Meguid, CEO Kamelizer, Angel Investment fund (Egypt)
Ms. Hanan Abdel-Meguid previously served as the Chief Executive Officer of Orascom Telecom Ventures S.A.E. (also known as OT Ventures). Ms. Abdel-Meguid has 25+ years of experience in the IT field. She served as the Chief Executive Officer of LINKdotNET’s software development spin-off firm, LINK Development. She joined LINKdotNET in 1996 and served as its Chief Solution Officer, where she contributed immensely to its success and growth. She was involved in the establishment of various communities and projects. She serves as a Director of Joyent, Inc. She is an active Member in many academic and business alliances and associations in Egypt, and is a Microsoft 4Afrika Advisory Council member.
Collins Onuegbu (Nigeria)
Collins Onuegbu is Executive Vice Chairman of Lagos based ICT Company, Signal Alliance. Having founded this company and after running it successfully for 18 years, he left the CEO post to focus on a new role allowing him to invest in and develop technology startups – initially in Nigeria and later in Africa. His venture capital fund is called Sasware. As a serial entrepreneur, Collins invests in other people’s ideas as a way to fulfil his desire to be part of the ever-changing tech space. Sasware will invest in companies where it can provide not just startup capital but mentoring. Collins is also part of the Lagos Angel network.
