itel Mobile Officially Unveils its P32 Flagship Smartphone in the Ugandan Market
Transsion-owned smartphone brand, itel Mobile, has today unveiled its P32 flagship smartphone in the Ugandan market. Priced between the range of UGX330,000 to UGX350,000, the flagship comes with a dual rear camera setting, 4,000mAh non-removable battery, and a fingerprint sensor – which are the most selling points of the smartphone.
The itel P32 is the successor to the itel P31 which is part of the itel P-series. The flagship smartphone is targeting users who extensively use their smartphone. The 4,000mAh battery, according to the company officials claim it last up to 3 days on a single charge. Coulped with Google’s Android Go Edition OS which is specifically tailored to facilitate a smooth and fast experience in device – considering that it has a 1GB of RAM. The GO Edition comes with pre-installed applications such as; Google Go, YouTube Go, Google Maps Go, Gmail Go which have smaller app size, consume less space, as well as consumer less data. It’s one of the advantages that can have a 4,000mAh battery last for that long as claimed.
The itel P32 dual rear camera come with 5MP + 5MP sensors. We expected more from itel when it was rumored that the smartphone had dual cameras. However, it being the first in the itel mobiles to come with this feature, perhaps later in the feature, the upcoming itel devices the will pack dual rear cameras will have much better camera sensors.
PC Tech Magazine has received a flagship for review, which see the phone put to test on battery life, and the dual camera performance since they’re the selling points of the itel P32.
On specifications, itel P32 has a 5.5-Inch screen display with a screen resolution of 720 x 1440 pixels, and a screen aspect ratio of 18:9 – meaning less bezels to provide/show/display more content. The smartphone comes with a Quad-Core 1.3GHz processor which is backed up by 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage, and an expandable microSD card slot of up to 128GB.
Like we mentioned before, with the company’s partnership with Google, itel incorporated the Android 8.1 Oreo (Go Edition) into the P32, tailored to facilitate a smooth and fast experience in device.
As far as the cameras are concerned, the Itel P32 comes with a dual rear camera sporting 5MP + 5MP camera sensors, and 5MP front facing camera with both the front and rear camera supported with a dual-LED flash for low light photography/setting.
itel added a fingerprint sensor at the back just below the dual cameras. The sensor will give the handset holders more flexibility from securely locking their phone to protect their data.
