Rumors: iPhone 7 Release Date, Price, Features And Specs
After last year’s iPhone 6s upgrade, it’s likely that Apple might reveal a brand new design for this year’s iPhone, “iPhone 7”.
The current iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus lineup offers customers a choice of 16GB, 64GB, or 128GB storage options. However, with the latest rumors, the tech giant might plan on ditching its 16GB storage option in favor of a more generous 32GB base model.
Director of Market Research at analyst firm IHS Technology, Kevin Wang, he suggest the iPhone 7 base model will come with with 32GB of storage, Mirror reports.
Release Date
Taking Apple’s release date history into account, both the iPhone 6s and the iPhone 6 were revealed in September and it’s likely that we’ll see the iPhone 7 officially revealed in September 2016 either the first or second week.
Price
Most experts reckon the new iPhone will start at 2.04million UGX (about 539 Pounds or 607 USD) for a 16GB model, effectively taking the place of the current iPhone 6s – which will see an incremental drop in price.
The other models with larger storage of 64GB and 128GB might go for 2.3million UGX (about 619 Pounds or 697 USD) and 2.6million UGX (about 699 Pounds or 787 USD) prices respectively.[related-posts]
Specs
iPhone 7 might come with Apple’s yet-to-be-confirmed iOS 10 software and an upgraded A10 processor; which will surely boast more power, OLED screens, Low Power in-built Mode, a whopping 256GB of storage for the iPhone 7 Plus (doubles the storage of an entry-level Macbook Air, and would make the iPhone 7 Plus Apple’s most high-capacity smartphone yet), dual-lens camera, WaterProof, 3mm thick with a body formed of glass and liquid-metal and it’s also likely come in different colors including; Pink-Gold, Gold, Sliver, Gray, Black …to name a few.
The new iPhone is also rumored to come with a cutting-edge technology known as LiFi, that is capable of transmitting information at 100 times the speed of WiFi.
