Nadia Matovu To Battle For ‘Africa’s Top Influencer’ Spot

Nadia Matovu from Uganda will battle with four other African influencers to be crowned Africa's top influencer.

Content creator and Influencer, Nadia Matovu daughter to MTN Uganda Chairman, Mr, Charles Mbire, is set to represent Uganda at the Next Big Trender TV Show alongside four other influencers from Kenya, Ghana, Nigeria, and South Africa.

The reality show will see the five influencers and aspiring reality-TV stars battling it out to be Africa’s next top influencer. Matovu with the other four will go all out to win the opinionistas over by introducing different facets of their lives in each of the ten episodes. This will see three of the continent’s most judgmental influencers; Nadia Nakai, Lekan Olaleye, and Mbau Khanyi —judge the footage from their studio and score the hopefuls on a leader board where the winner will be crowned as the new Honey star.

The show which premiers this Friday at 7:00PM on Honey TV Channel 173 which is available on DStv Compact, Compact Plus and Premium across DStv subscribers around Africa.

For a period of 10 weeks, users can be entertained from anywhere and can also download the DStv app and tune in and watch from anywhere.

Matovu said she is proud to represent her country, as she took to her Instagram Page, @mrs.matovu and wrote “Catch me on DSTVs new lifestyle channel @honeyafricatv from March 19th proudly representing Uganda on The Next Big Trender.”
