Telecommunications operator MTN Uganda has revealed that it is looking to invest UGX238 billion (USD89 million) on upgrading its networks in 2015.
This is up from UGX157 billion this year and UGX138 billion in 2013.
According to The Observer, the money will go towards 3G and 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE) mobile technology, as well as IT infrastructure and value added services (VAS). T
The operator said that much of its 2014 spend is going on an upgrade of its mobile money services.
