Huawei P20 and P20 Pro Rumor Roundup Ahead of Launch

We’re expecting the Shenzhen-based smartphone markers, Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd, to be launching the Huawei P20 and P20 Pro today in Paris, France. All the speculations, and rumors end today.

We round up all the rumors on these handsets. What will turn up true.

The cameras – By far the most exciting aspect of the two flagships
Rumors have it that the Huawei P20 Pro will have a whopping 40MP sensor used for still photography. But also to assist, is the 8MP 3x optical zoom camera – both of them working together will deliver 5x hybrid zoom. There will be a third camera on the back, a 20MP monochrome shooter. Yes! that’s are trio-rear camera setup.

On the other hand, the P20 will feature the same dual-camera 12MP setup with a 20MP B&W color sensor. Together, they make for a 2x digital lossless zoom.

Finally, the front facing cameras will keep the 24MP setup but will feature AI-powered “light fusion” that will brighten up images.

The screens
Rumored to have an unusual aspect ratio of 18.7:9. On the P20 Pro, it will be a 6.1” OLED panel while the P20 a 5.8” LCD spotting a resolution of 1080 x 2240PX.

The hardware
The Kirin 970 will handle both general purpose and AI computations paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage on the P20 Pro and 4GB/128GB for the P20.

According to GSM Arena, their batteries will support 22.5W SuperCharge and will have capacities of 4,000mAh and 3,400mAh in favor of the Pro model.

Pricing and Colors
Reputed Tipster; Roland Quandt leaked the pricing of the smartphones – claiming the P20 Pro, and P20 will be priced at 899 Euros, and 679 Euros respectively.

In terms of colors, as per leaked images, the P20 Pro will come in Black, Blue and “Twilight” (Purple), while the P20 will be available in Black, Blue, and Pink-Gold color options.
