Microsoft has revealed the fortunate Windows Phone handsets that are eligible to receive Windows 10 Creators Update in the coming months. The list is fairly short, much like company’s ambitions with its mobile handsets and mobile operating system.
The company says following handsets will be receiving the Windows 10 Creators Update, the mobile version of the Creators Update that Microsoft made available to Windows 10 desktop users earlier this week.
The handsets that are eligible to receive the aforementioned software update include – HP Elite x3, HP Elite x3 (Verizon), HP Elite x3 (Telstra), Wileyfox Pro, Microsoft Lumia 550, Microsoft Lumia 650, Microsoft Lumia 950/950 XL, Alcatel IDOL 4S, Alcatel IDOL 4S Pro, Alcatel OneTouch Fierce XL, Softbank 503LV, VAIO Phone Biz, MouseComputer MADOSMA Q601, and the Trinity NuAns Neo.
Microsoft says some additional Windows Phone handsets, which are already eligible for Windows 10 Mobile update, will receive security patches from the company until they reach the end of their lifecycle. The handsets are Lumia Icon, 1520, 930, 640, 640XL, 730, 735, 830, 532, 535, 540, 635 1GB, 636 1GB, 638 1GB, 430, 435, BLU Win HD w510u, BLU Win HD LTE x150q, and MCJ Madosma Q501.
