Huawei Wins Three Accolades at the EISA 2017/18 Awards While Samsung Wins Best Smartphone

Shenzhen-based smartphone markers, Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd, on Sunday 26th, February, 2017 during the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017 launched its most waited smartphones; the ‘Huawei P10 and P10 Plus” successors of the famous Huawei P9. And as expected, the two phablets spotted the promised Leica dual rear cameras.

According to online reviews, the metal bodied devices offer more than its predecessor with respect to design change, upgraded processor, camera, and software.

Because of the company’s innovative skills of trying to embed in the latest technology in its flagships, the Huawei P Series has been awarded Best Consumer Smartphone for four consecutive years, thanks to a combination of impressive specs, beautiful design and a natural user interface.

Last year in November, the company’s Huawei P9 phablet won the ‘Best Dual Lens Smartphone’ at the TeknoTel 2016 Awards, and according to new reports, Huawei adds on another honorable award to its list as its latest flagship in the P-series; the Huawei P10 is honored with an award from the European Image and Sound Association (EISA) for its has quality, design and performance.

The P10 was recognized for its camera experience, co-engineered with Leica, taking the title of EISA Smartphone Camera 2017-2018 accolade. The phone has the latest rear-facing Leica Dual-Camera 2.0 and Leica-powered front-facing camera combined with a full suite of cutting-edge software tools such as 3D facial detection and dynamic illumination to create timeless portraits and exceptional pictures, whatever the subject.

Quoting EISA, the dual system on the back of the Huawei P10 now has a 20 million pixel monochrome sensor, and a 12 million pixel color sensor, enabling the introduction of a brand new Portrait mode for stunning portrait photography. On the front is an 8 million pixel F1.9 selfie camera, also supporting the portrait mode and including Leica technology that is smart enough to recognize if there are more people in the picture, and consequently make the shot wider. For an even more professional photography experience, EISA recommends the Huawei P10 Plus.

Notably, Huawei also won two more accolades; the Huawei Watch 2, and the Honor 8 Pro – were awarded EISA Wearable Device, and EISA Consumer Smartphone 2017/18 respectively, while Samsung’s; Galaxy S8 and S8+ walked away with EISA Best Smartphone 2017/18 accolade.
