Jumia Celebrates its 5 Year Anniversary With an Amazing 50% Discounts

Thousands flock Jumia as the eCommerce firm hits its five-year anniversary in the line of online shopping business, with discount on all its products set up-to 50% not limited to electronics, appliances, home supplies, fashion and most especially sugar – which now goes for just 3,000 UGX a kilo – which has been at a market price between 5,500 UGX and 7,000 UGX per kilo in recent months.

The firm is celebrating by throwing – what they termed as ‘Super Sales’ on its Jumia website and via its Jumia app. The discount sale launched effective Wednesday 26th, July 2017 and is scheduled to run till 2nd, August 2017. Thus, all shoppers still have a chance to get what they have been anticipating for.

Other discounts causing a shopping frenzy include: buy 1 get 1 free deals on Fero Smartphones, discounted beverages from popular alcohol brands since the online shopping firm is in partnership with UBL, exclusive prices also came on DSTV decoders that come with an offer of FREE installation (only if ordered on Jumia), to mention a few.[related-posts]

In addition to the online promotion, the #JumiaIs5 campaign includes social media spotlights on the individuals who have contributed to the Jumia story over the past years, plus live activation’s around Kampala and Entebbe – where revelers can place orders and stand a chance to win prizes.
