Kilimall Uganda launched last year in May and has been riding on a number of advantages to be the number one online shopping marketplace in Uganda.

With Global Shopping, where people can buy a variety of products from all over the world at factory prices, Kilimall looks to attract more shoppers. But one thing still remains a challenge to many potential shoppers; How do I go about this online shopping thingie?

In an exclusive interview with the Country Manager, Wang Chengyang, he admits that people in Uganda are still not familiar with online shopping, and it’s a bit hard to change people’s shopping behavior.

1. Select the items you wish to purchase

Find the products you want by browsing through categories, typing keywords into the search bar or by viewing products on promotion. Add the required quantity of each item into your shopping cart.

2. Fill your details

Make sure to enter your correct delivery address and a Voucher or Coupon Code (if available) in order to receive instant discounts on your shopping.

3. Choose Payment method

Select from available payment options. At the moment there is MTN Mobile Money or Airtel Money.
