Kenya startup Bamba Group raises $250,000

Bamba Group, a Kenyan data collection startup has raised US$250,000 from Darshan Chandaria after taking part in the Lions’ Den pitching television show.

The startup which was launched three years ago is handles and simplifies data collection, using SMS, app and web data collection software and enables clients to communicate, survey and obtain feedback from beneficiaries, clients, suppliers and the public.

Early this year, Bamba Group also took part in the Techstars accelerator held in Austin, Texas, and obtained US$100,000 in investment in the process.

The US$250,000 funding from the Lions’ Den television show was from investor Darshan Chandaria, who is the director of Chandaria Group.
