Huawei offering up to 20% discount on its smartphones, plus where to buy them
Huawei Consumer Business Group (Uganda) has announced a mega-discount of up to 20% on its smartphones available across the country. The specific smartphones on discounted offer till stock lasts are:
- Y-series: Y336, Y520, Y6, Y6 Pro, Y625, Y3 II, Y5 II, Y3 lite,
- G series: GR3, GR5, G8
- P series: P7, P8, P9, P9 lite
- Mate series: Mate S, Mate 7, Mate 8
Jean Baguma Marketing Manager Huawei Device Uganda said, “Huawei has announced major price cuts for its high-end as well as low-end smartphones with up to 20% massive discounts. This is intended to give everyone the opportunity to experience the Huawei up-to-date technology which is embedded in all our devices. Huawei is able to give such unique discounts because we currently only produce smartphones.”
Baguma added that in 2012, Huawei became the world’s third-largest smartphone manufacturer and was the first Chinese company to sell more than 100 million mobile phones in one year – 2015, with products and services available in more than 170 countries. Huawei continues to develop innovations based on customer needs with an aim of enhancing their experiences and creating maximum value for every single device purchase they make. Huawei is therefore very keen on availing to its customers devices that suit their specific customer preferences.

She further elaborated that Huawei Uganda will also give out goodies to everyone that purchases Huawei smartphones as part of this promotion, making this a unique exciting offer. The goodies to be given out include flasks, laptop bags, USB flashes, nail kits, bottles and selfie sticks among others.
