Facebook-owned messaging service, WhatsApp Inc. is rolling out it’s latest new feature that let’s users “quote messages” while replying. The feature was spotted in beta versions of WhatsApp for Android, which is now rolling out for most users across Android and iOS.

The message quotes and replies feature is self-explanatory and the user needs to long press a message in any conversation to see a reply option pop up alongside star, delete, copy and forward.

On tapping the reply button, the original message will appear as a quote, and users can reply to that. The quoted message will appear as a grey box with the reply below it at the recipient’s end.

The feature works both on one-on-one and group chats.
