WhatsApp launches native desktop app for Windows and Mac

As it was rumored earlier, WhatsApp has announced the launch of a native desktop app that’s available on both Windows and Mac devices.

The Desktop apps supports desktop notifications, better keyboard shortcuts, and more, with all messages being synced with WhatsApp’s mobile devices as well..

The standalone desktop app supports Windows 8 or higher and Mac OX 10.9 and higher.

This addition also makes the service more accessible and could be aimed at helping to accelerate growth.

To use the native desktop app, all you have to do is scan the QR code in a way similar to web login.
