MTN Uganda in substantial drop on voice-call rates

MTN Uganda launched what it termed as “one of the best calling options for MTN customers to date”, crucially doubling the validity of the daily voice bundle that already been existing in the market, without changing its price.

Dubbed MTN PakaPaka, the bundle gives customers 30 minutes for MTN to MTN calls at only 1,000/-, valid till midnight. MTN customers can now enjoy the most affordable calls to anyone they want to call.

The announcement comes on the heels of various offers in which MTN has maintained its commitment to increase its overall value proposition to customers. Earlier this month, the company introduced the MTN Day Zone bundle which guarantees MTN customers 9 minutes during the day and the MTN Night Zone bundle which gives MTN customers 300 sure minutes at night.

“Through this offer, MTN is providing its customers significantly more minutes as well as one of the most competitive call rates in the market. This move is a demonstration of MTN’s continued commitment to offering its customers the best value for their money. The MTN PakaPaka bundle undoubtedly offers the best value available on the market today,” said MTN Uganda’s Chief Marketing Officer, Mapula Bodibe.

She further added, “MTN will continuously gain insights into consumers’ needs to offer our customers the  most affordable products that suit the unique needs of all Ugandans.
