Publisher 2K Games Inc. and Developer Hanger 13 announced the release of their third installment in the Mafia series, Mafia 3, which is scheduled to be released on October 7, 2016 for Microsoft Windows, OS X, PS4 and XBox One consoles.
The game is played in a third-person perspective and is set in 1968 New Bordeaux (a fictionalized version of New Orleans), with the open world design allowing players to freely explore the game’s world.
It revolves around Lincoln Clay, who grew up an orphan and never felt he had much of a family until he decided to join the armed force and went to war in Vietnam.
One his return to New Bordeaux, Clay decides to join the Black Mob and later on adopts to them as his family. He loses his so called family quickly when an Italian mob wipes them out and shoots Clay in the head, leaving him for dead. However, Clay survives after being saved by a priest. Now he is on a quest to start his own new crime organization to confront the Italians that killed his friends (*Family*).
All the editions from; Standard Edition to Deluxe Edition to Collector’s Edition of the game will be available.

The “Deluxe Edition” includes both the game and access to additional, post-release downloadable content (DLC), including the Season Pass at additional savings all at a cost of $80 (approximately 264,800 ugx).
The “Collector’s Edition” is packed with physical and digital items, including all content found in the Deluxe Edition plus the original game score on vinyl, a collectible art book, art prints and more at a price of $150 (approximately 496,500 ugx).
