Nigerian Man arrested for Pirating MultiChoice TV Signals

A Nigerian man, by the names of Uchechukwu Ezeodili was arrested on Sunday by the Nigeria Copyright Commission for unauthorized re transmission of Multichoice television signals.

It is said that  Ezeodili specialised in illegal transmission of the signals to the neigbourhood, having people subscribed to the service at a cost lower than Mutichoice charges as he collected between N1000 and N1500 from his customers.

Ezeodili  has previously been arrested in a similar operation but was discharged on promise that he would not return to the business.

 He was illegally transmitting the signals to more than 100 households in his area. He had over 13 satellite dishes, boosterswhich he was using for his operations.
