Vivo XPlay 5 Will Be World’s First Smartphone with 6 GB RAM

Vivo are once again goes for the next level, the company confirmed that the Vivo XPlay 5 will come with a 6 GB RAM, making it the first smartphone to have such amount of memory and also expected to have Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 820. However, the Samsung Galaxy Note 6 which is rumoured to be released on September or early October this year might also come with the same amount of memory as the Vivo XPlay 5 since Samsung is also capable of producing 6GB RAM Chips. Rumours also point out that some of Vivo XPlay 5 RAM will be used for graphics only, however many see this to be impossible with the Snapdragon 820.

The Vivo Xplay 5 is rumoured to come with a 6-inch dual-edge display similar to the Samsung newest product, the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, a 4,300mAh battery, 16-megapixel rear camera and 8-megapixel front camera to name a few.

With what we know now about the Vivo latest smartphone, we are sure the rest of the package is going to be a bit as exciting as the current specs and is confirmed to be unveiled on March 1st.
