You can now Skype on your Android wear smartwatch

Software giant Microsoft has a new version of its Skype app for Android containing an expanded ability to read the latest messages and missed calls, which was previously done through notification bar mirroring.

You can reply to messages by speaking them into your wrist or choosing from a selection of predefined responses, including such classics as ‘running late’, ‘LOL’ and ‘I’m sorry.

There is also the option to reply by emoticon by drawing on the screen and the ability to accept and decline calls in the same way as standard telephone calls with a swipe to the watch face and an option to mute.

You can also hang up or pause and swap between calls.
