Hello OnePlus fans, the OnePlus 2 is arriving on July 27th and yes it’s solution for “managing risk and user experience”; the ‘invite-only system’ is back with it.

However, it has not always been a smooth ride for this sales strategy, as it leaves some users unhappy for not being able to get their hands on invites. Also, some deemed the process confusing.

Therefore, the company has now tweaked the process of acquiring OnePlus 2 invites, its CEO Carl Pei posted on the official blog.

Just like last time, users can participate in social media promotions to get invites. Apart from this, they can simply submit their email IDs with OnePlus and the company will provide an invite to them “as soon as they’re available.” In this case, early forum supporters will get preference. OnePlus is pretty confident that it can manage the invites in a better manner for the upcoming smartphone as the inventory is 30-50 times larger than that of its predecessor.

Like last year, those who buy OnePlus 2 will get more invites to buy the smartphone, which they can give to their friends. However, this time around, these shared invites will be delivered “much faster,” as per the company.

OnePlus 2 will be unveiled on July 27 globally and will be powered by a 64-bit, octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, and have 4GB RAM, metallic body, 3,300mAh battery, fingerprint sensor, and support for 4G. The company has also confirmed that it will be smaller in size compared to its predecessor.
