Samsung’s Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge give more with Galaxy Gifts

Samsung Electronics South Africa has identified a bespoke selection of gifts to take the new Galaxy range to the next level: the Galaxy Gifts package for the S6 and S6 edge amplifies the consumer’s experience of these latest Samsung smartphones. By teaming up with key partners, Samsung now provides customers with a wealth of free, long-term subscriptions and superior services with the Galaxy S6 range. From offline GPS to Accidental Damage from Handling (ADH) Premium, the free Galaxy Gift collection inherent to the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge includes:

Accidental Damage from Handling (ADH) Premium

We all know accidents happen and with ADH Premium, Galaxy S6 and S6 edge customers get additional cover, with a free screen and/or glass panel repair within the first 12 months of purchase. The premium provision offers Smart Swap – a benefit which includes a loan device while the smartphone is being repaired. In addition, Smart Pick-up is a door-to-door solution that makes provision for the original device to be collected and returned to the consumer anywhere in South Africa, making the repair process much smoother.

Microsoft OneDrive

The Galaxy S6 does not have an external SD memory card however customers benefit from a 100GB of cloud storage for two years and the internal 15GB – which comes with the device. The Microsoft OneDrive is pre-loaded on the Galaxy S6 range, meaning consumers can simply access the app on their smartphone and use the free storage whenever they are online.

 AlwaysOn™

With AlwaysOn, Galaxy S6 and S6 edge customers get 2 gigabytes (GB) of free Wi-Fi per month, for an entire year. This means that users save on data as they now have access to over 2,200 hotspots across South Africa. AlwaysOn delivers a fast, efficient and satisfying experience for consumers browsing the Net when out and about.

Viago by Garmin

Whether navigating around an unfamiliar city, or searching for the quickest route home, the Galaxy S6 range will assist. Samsung has teamed up with one of the world’s leading GPS manufacturers, Viago by Garmin, to safely guide customers with free offline, turn-by-turn navigation. Users benefit from 12 months of free use worth over R500. Viago by Garmin is available for Galaxy S6 users to download from the Google Play store under ‘Galaxy Gifts’.
