Google Challenges Amazon With Project Wing

Google is joining Amazon to take a bet on the future of delivering business. Earlier this year Amazon introduced Amazon Prime Air Octocopter drones which will cut on the time spent to deliver products to customer.

Google X has launched it’s new moonshot which is similar to the Amazon Prime Air but looks bigger. Project Wing is set to reduce the friction of moving things around the world.

What is unique though about this project, is that it takes away the fear Amazon had of drones hitting people’s heads during the delivery because the Google Wing doesn’t come down to the ground, the drone is this case just delivers the product on over a string from a given height.

As Dave Vos the product Lead say, the product is still in prototype phase but it’s driving at having safe and very fast deliveries of product.
