Zanlink ISP to roll out 4G Technology

zanlinkZanlink, an Internet Service Provider (ISP) in Zanzibar is in the process of rolling out high speed fibre optic networks to many areas of the islands.

This was revealed by Mr Sanjay Raja, the Managing Director of Zee Communications Limited running Zanlink

“Plans are underway to extend the current fibre optic network to other areas in Zanzibar,” ,He  said in Zanzibar at the launch of Zanlink new brand identity.

Raja said that the new brand identity which also includes new logo, tagline, and website; and rolling out 4G WiMax Technology aims at better services to its current and potential customers.

“The new identity is both modernized and more visually compact, connecting with consumers in a friendly and elegant way, emphasizing that Zanlink is a human and approachable brand,” He added.

Zanlink earlier this year, completed building a Point of Presence (PoP) in the Tanzania mainland providing various VLAN and Layer2 data links, a scope to form a strategic partnership with other Global operators across East Africa.

Zanlink has evolved from just a dial-up internet connection provider to a company that now serves almost 65 per cent of the total market with services ranging from fast broadband, hosting solutions, network management, online surveillance and other connectivity.
